Aside from a number of bug fixes, these add-on releases also have several new features and improvements:
- The Media Gallery and Resource Manager support the REST API, push notifications, reactions, content bookmarking, and auto-read marking of alerts where relevant.
- The Resource Manager now allow moderators to provide public reasons when deleting a resource; the "support URL" field can now be toggled per category; the resource discussion can now be manually changed or removed per resource; page criteria has been added to target individual resource categories; and resource views are now tracked.
- The Media Gallery has re-introduced a configurable limit for the max length of media/album titles and descriptions and an option to control the default privacy setting of albums (defaulting to public).
- The Importers now include support for importing from XenForo 2.1, including importing bookmarks and reactions.
Some of the changes include:
- Improve tokenization of the search terms to ensure that URLs are searchable as expected.
- Suppress unexpected errors on the Enhanced Search configuration page to ensure you can always reconfigure or disable the system.
- Attempt to provide improved error messages when no specific error is provided by Elasticsearch.
